Free-form Twined Basket Workshop

Join us for a creative summer workshop where you’ll explore the traditional art of twining while crafting a freeform storage basket using round reed. This hands-on class is designed for all skill levels and offers a relaxed yet guided introduction to essential basketry techniques. Even beginners will leave with a beautifully functional basket — perfect for hanging garlic or onions in the kitchen, or for organizing a variety of household and craft items such as scotch tape, yarn, ribbons, and more. Finished baskets typically range in size, with a maximum of approximately 8 inches wide by 12 inches high, depending on your personal design. All materials are provided. Discover the joy of working with natural materials and take home a unique piece that combines artistry with everyday function. This is a small group class for up to 5 people.
