Join us on Saturday, 19 July for a great day of adventure and more as we head out from Triumph Sandton for an outride like no other. With two exciting route options to choose from, you can pick the ride that suits your skill level and appetite for adventure.
We’ll meet at Triumph Sandton from 08:30, where coffee and muffins will be served during the pre-ride briefing. The ride kicks off at 09:00 and wraps up around 15:00 near the Cradle of Humankind, with a scenic lunch stop along the way.
Red Route – Technical Off-Road (Intermediate Level)
Ideal for more experienced riders, the Red Route features a mix of dirt roads and technical terrain, including sand, ruts, rocks, and single tracks with uphills and downhills. Dual-purpose tyres are essential, please ensure they’re in good condition. This route is not pillion-friendly and demands confidence and off-road skill.
Green Route – Scenic Backroads (Beginner-Friendly)
A relaxed ride perfect for beginners and pillions, the Green Route sticks to well-maintained gravel roads and non-technical terrain. While the pace is more laid-back, riders must still ensure their tyres are in good condition. Any dual-purpose tyre will do.
Event Info:
Cost: R450 pp (includes lunch)
Limited to 40 riders (20 per route)
What to bring: Water/snacks, tyre repair kit, tubes/tools for punctures (Pack smart)
Safety gear required: Helmet, gloves, jacket & pants with protection, riding boots
GARMIN TREAD app: Please download and register before the ride. (Download now)
When booking, please select your route preference (Green or Red) to help us plan and brief accordingly.
We’re looking forward to riding with you!
