You’re invited to the ribbon cutting for Athens’ first street mural!
When: July 4th, 11am
Where: Corner of Watt St and E State St, with light refreshments to follow on the Village Bakety porch
The Athens Pedestrian Accessibility and Bicycle Task force is pleased and proud to announce the official ribbon cutting for the mural “The Migration,” located in the crosswalk bump-out on E State St. Artist remarks and the ribbon cutting will be followed by iced tea and light snacks generously provided by the Village Bakery and Cafe. Come hear the story of Athens’ newest mural, talk to Task Force members about our upcoming projects, and do some chalk drawing to celebrate our community.
