Please join us for our next program on Thursday, July 10 at 7 pm. Penn State Librarian Emeritus of Special Collections, Lee Stout will present βThe Genealogy Kid Finds a Career in Archives and History.β My interest in family history began in my early βteensβ and persisted into early adulthood when I found professional work in Archives and the support of the Central Pennsylvania Genealogical Society. Over the years, my active participation in genealogy diminished until retirement, but my interest never did. I now find myself exploring a new focus: writing the stories of my family history, as well as preserving my family records, photos, and other artifacts for future generations.
The speaker will present in person, so please join us to view the program at our meeting location at South Hills Business School (Room 14) in State College. The meeting is free and open to the public. As a benefit of membership, members will be emailed a Zoom link for the option to view the meeting remotely. Everyone is welcome to join the Society to enjoy this benefit.
