We can come together for a three-part event along the river. We can contemplatively journey up river, reflect or meditate in the present, and look toward or journey into the future. Opportunities include getting added awareness of river and ecosystems, supporting health and wholeness via connecting with the river, receiving input and wisdom from the river regarding our activities and decisions, connecting with life directions, finding environmental service pathways and support, and more.
The requested contribution for the workshop is $20, payable in cash at the event or online at www.landsolution.com/cwtlws/workshop_registration.html. Alternative payment or work-barter options can be arranged during the event. Bringing water to drink and dressing for the weather are recommended.
We are gathering along the Appomattox River in Petersburg, VA, at the "Appomattox River Trail - Lower Falls" trailhead, which is located along Fleet Street (aka University Blvd.) across the street from the parking area that is the location indicated on the Facebook map. The trailhead is on the west side of the street and the trail parking area is on the east side. Both the parking area and trailhead are north of the railroad tracks and south of the river. Here are the latitude and longitude coordinates of the gathering location: 37.23226, -77.41751. Facilitator Adam Davis will be carrying a fallen branch to help folks find him.
