More to Explore in Muncie: White River Inhabitants

Join us at Westside Park on Wednesday, July 30, at 10am for More to Explore in Muncie: White River Inhabitants. During this program, families will have the opportunity to view some of the fish, macroinvertebrate, and freshwater mussel found in the White River and learn about the complex interactions between aquatic organisms and their environment. Families will also learn about the different sampling methods used by the Bureau of Water Quality biologists to check the water quality of the White River.

This program is part of our More to Explore in Muncie summer program offered weekly by Muncie Children’s Museum. Each week Muncie Children’s Museum will meet at various locations throughout the Muncie community to offer family-friendly activities. Each time your family attends a More to Explore in Muncie program, your family will be entered into a drawing to win a Family Membership to the Muncie Children’s Museum to be given away at the end of the summer program.
