July’s Show “Diptychs & Triptychs” features Lora Cobden and Ardie Harrison

this month’s show at the Artists’ Cooperative Gallery of Westerly, “Diptychs & Triptychs,” is full of stories told on 2 or 3 panels. Come see, and meet the artists, at the show’s Opening Reception – Wednesday, July 2nd, from 5-8 pm. (note: the Opening Reception is not on the First Friday this month due to the Juy 4th holiday)
Featured artist Lora Cobden’s evocative watercolors reflect her love for the beauty and cycles of nature, as well as the places and people she discovers while traveling.
Featured artist Ardie Harrison’s expressive photographs capture the magic of the first light of day, and frame the stories of his travels through images.
Over 50 of ACGOW’s elected artists will also participate in June’s show in a wide variety of 2- and 3-dimensional mediums.
Don’ t miss the winners of the “Art it Forward” high school scholarships, and work from ACGOW’s “Art is FUN” outreach program in the United in Art Community Gallery.
