Writing with Light: Photography Workshop | Ephemera 2025

Learn the art of “Writing with Light” as we undertake a photographic exploration of Ephemera 2025: Trace-less.

This workshop will be an opportunity for you to develop your photography skills with local professional photographer Rob Parsons from Through the Looking Glass Studio. Ephemera offers so many great subjects for you to delve into a greater understanding of the effects of camera controls on the images you create.

Topics for the workshop will be…
- Composition
- Shutter speed and aperture and their effects on your images
- The use of supplemental lighting
- Techniques for creative image capture.

To partake in this workshop, you must bring:
- SLR Camera (Digital or Film) with lens
- Flash (On camera or in camera is fine)
- Equipment that will allow you to use flash off camera if you have it.
- Tripod if you have one.
