Where: Clermont Arts and Recreation Center
When: Every Last Monday of the Month, 6 PM - 8 PM
Trails: 1-Mile Trail & Β½-Mile Trail
At I Am A Safe Place we believe in the power of community support and healing. Walking together on our beautiful trails is just one step toward raising awareness about the health impacts faced by women who have experienced domestic violence. π

- Women who experience domestic violence are 80% more likely to have a stroke.
- They are 70% more likely to have heart disease.
- 60% are more likely to have asthma, and 70% are more likely to drink heavily compared to those who have not experienced intimate partner violence.
- Survivors are 3 times as likely to meet the criteria for PTSD and 4 times more likely to attempt suicide.
Letβs walk for health, healing, and hope! This is a safe space for survivors and allies to connect, share, and support one another.
