Live Jazz with The Root Down Collective

The Root Down Collective is a Raleigh-based jazz group founded on fun and engaging music from every era of the jazz tradition. Band leader and saxophonist Garret Hitmar takes inspiration from such greats as Dexter Gordon and Stanley Turrentine. In addition to Hitmar on sax, the band includes our good friend Silas Seigler on drums, Chris Mills on bass, and Brandon Shamar on trombone.
