Paver with Glass Mosaics

Run over 3 weeks, in this workshop you will learn to create your own glass mosaic paver. The first week will use some simple kiln formed glass techniques to create elements to add to your paver – items to create could include eyes, bugs, blossoms, bones and simple spots. These will fired in a kiln and made available to add to your paver during the mosaic process the following week.

Week 1: Preparing to mosaics, planning the design and making the kiln formed glass elements

Week 2: Creating the mosaics

Week 3: Grouting
