About the Show:
Every sport is more than just a game, and every moment of change is made possible by someone who opens a door that was previously locked. This is the lesson learned by Grady, a high school tennis player with a chip on his shoulder. He finds himself traveling to Lynchburg, Virginia, to be trained and coached by Dr. Robert Walter “Whirlwind” Johnson. As a medical doctor, coach, former college athlete, activist, and respected community member, Dr. Johnson appears to have it all. Grady aspires to better himself and reach that level. However, he is unaware that Dr. Johnson is also facing his own struggle, fighting against the past while striving to create a future where tennis is an integrated sport.
