Lots of FREE things for young and old to discover:
Explore displays and nature discovery tools in the new Nature Discovery Centre
Activities to explore the world of mini-beasts living in the flowers and garden mulch
Pick up a free Habitat Tree poster/activity and nature guides for young explorers
Learn about different habitat types and animals living in them on free 45 minute guided nature walks at 10.30am 11.30am 12.30pm and 1.30pm; starting at the NDC.
Free electric buggy rides through the garden from 10.30am to 2.30pm including to and from beautiful picnic spots in the garden surrounded by nature. The e-buggy shuttle service regularly departs from and returns to the fountain at the garden entrance.
Enjoy coffee and food at the new garden café the “Leaf and Bean” (open 9am to 3pm with pre ordered picnic baskets available.)
Bring a picnic lunch and hop onto an electric buggy to be transported to a picnic spot in the garden to immerse yourself in nature.
