We’re inviting the Parkinson’s community—individuals, families, friends, and supporters—to walk with us and help spread awareness about the mission of the American Parkinson Disease Association Rhode Island Chapter!
📅 Thursday, July 4, 2025
📍 Meet at Mt. Hope High School via Naomi Avenue
⏰ Arrive by 8:00 AM for parking and lineup, the lots fill up quickly
All are welcome! Whether you're walking, riding, or cheering us on, your presence helps amplify our message of hope, support, and community for those impacted by Parkinson’s in Rhode Island.
-Parking Info to Walk or Ride in the Parade: Park on Gooding Avenue, then walk down Naomi Avenue to Mt. Hope High School. If you need assistance walking to the starting point, we’re happy to transport you—just let us know in advance.
-Special thanks to Balise Nissan and George Clark for providing two vehicles (8 seats total) to accompany our participants and for anyone who wishes to ride along in the parade, instead of walking.
-Parade begins at 10:30 AM, so feel free to bring snacks for the wait, and don't forget water, sunscreen, and hat/sunglasses.
Let’s show our APDA pride and walk together for awareness, support, and strength! ❤️
