A beloved tradition returns as the Irish team holds court on the eve of battle—join them at the Top of Newport, Hotel Viking’s rooftop perch, where laughter flows as freely as the pints. Tall tales and good craic guaranteed. 6:30-8pm. RSVP to secure your spot; the bar’s on you, the banter’s on them. Come Saturday, a roaring crowd will cheer on the USA and Ireland as they face off in a clash for the ages. Spoils will go to the victors at the après polo celebration—because win or lose, the Irish always know how to throw a proper knees-up.
