The Onslow Amateur Radio Club (OARC) will be participating in the ARRL Field Day exercises Saturday and Sunday, June 28-29, 2025. The club will begin setting up radios and antennas at 10:00 am Saturday morning and start comunicating at 2:00 pm. The club plans to operate until Sunday at 2:00 pm.
The public and anyone interested in learning more about amateur radio are invited to come out and observe the operation. We will have multiple radios and antennas set up to communicate with other operators around the states and the world.
The location for this years site of operation is at the Onslow County Sheriffs Office training range, located at 789 Luther Midgett Dr., Jacksonville, NC. The site is inside Burton Park, home of the Onslow County Government offices.
Follow Highway 24/258 to NW Corridor Blvd. and turn left at WC Jarman Dr. Turn right on Luther Midgett Dr. and the site will be on your left, near the end of the road. Look for Amateur Radio signage on Highway 24/258.
