Join us for Acting with an Accent, a 1.5 hour workshop that’s packed with practical tools to bring characters to life through voice and dialect. We’ll explore a range of accents — but mostly focus on the Standard British accent. The workshop is open to anyone curious about acting, character voices, or just looking to laugh and learn in a supportive space.
This workshop is especially helpful if you're planning to audition for HCT's production of "The Mousetrap" on July 7 & 8, as all of the roles will call for an accent or dialect to be used. The goal isn’t perfection. It’s exploration, play, and connection. Come find your voice or someone else’s!
