The MUSC SPARK Team, in partnership with the Won by One Program, will be hosting Navigating Life on the Spectrum, a conference for autistic adults, at Seacoast Church in Mount Pleasant on Saturday, July 26th from 9AM-1PM.

The autism community is invited to attend this free conference held in an inclusive and uplifting environment. The event will feature self-advocate speakers, a Q&A panel, information tables with local resources, and free coffee and snacks.

To make this event as welcoming as possible, we are happy to offer a quiet room for breaks, communication badges to let others know if you are open to conversing, a stim friendly environment, flexible seating options, and printed agendas.

SPARK at MUSC: SPARK is a growing community of families, autistic adults, and researchers working to understand autism and improve lives. With over 300,000 participants, SPARK is the largest study of autism ever. MUSC has been a clinical site for the SPARK program since 2017. We are working to address the gaps in autism research and transform the way that autism research is done.

Won by One Program at Seacoast Church: Won by One is Seacoast’s special needs ministry. Weekly Won by One services include worship, group time, games, and crafts in a fun, supportive, and empowering environment. All Won by One Buddies receive training to serve in this ministry.
