Painting with Natural Dyes Workshop

Join us for a hands-on workshop that combines the beauty of nature with the art of fabric painting. Led by one of our 2025 Juliet Art Museum Invitational exhibiting artists, Nichole van Beek, this session will guide you through the process of sourcing natural materials, preparing fabric or paper, cultivating your own dye garden, and creating mordant paints from raw materials to apply to scoured fabric. Whether you're an experienced artist or a beginner, you'll explore new techniques to create your own small, personalized fabric square (12" x 12").

Immerse yourself in the world of natural artistry while learning to create your very own natural dyes from the environment and turning them into workable paint that can be used on fabric or paper. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to engage with art in a tactile way and connect with fellow nature enthusiasts and creatives. All materials will be provided, and participants will leave with their own fabric artwork to cherish.

Limited space available; advanced registration required. Questions? Please call our Box Office at 304-561-3570 or email SnVsaWV0QXJ0TXVzZXVtIHwgdGhlY2xheWNlbnRlciAhIG9yZw==.
