In this beginner-friendly class, we’ll embrace the foundational principles of Yin Yoga: time, stillness, and finding your edge. No need to worry—there are no headstands or handstands here. In fact, much of the practice is done seated or lying down, making it accessible to all levels.
Yin Yoga offers a powerful counterbalance to our busy, fast-paced (Yang) lives. Through long-held postures—typically held for 2 to 5 minutes—we’ll gently stretch and stimulate the deeper connective tissues: ligaments, tendons, and fascia. This slow, meditative practice promotes flexibility, joint health, and a sense of deep calm.
Our sessions blend gentle movement with mindful breathing and awareness, helping you reconnect with your body, quiet the mind, and restore inner balance. Whether you’re new to yoga or simply seeking more stillness in your life, this class is a beautiful way to nurture yourself from the inside out.
Bring water, yoga mat, blocks or bolsters and an open heart.
