Xstatica: A Radical Dance Experience

You're invited to another evening of ecstatic dance hosted by Xavier! Let us release our bodies to teach us radical expression through movement. Let us move energy and emotion through our bodies so that sadness, anger, joy, and euphoria can all be honored. Let us welcome a natural high through only dance. May we expand our vision on the dance floor, manifesting what we want for ourselves and the world. Consent is the heart of our practice, allowing us to dance alone or for magical moments of contact improv to unfold. We begin with a grounding circle to set intentions and build connection. Then we let go to the sounds of a magical playlist interwoven with Xavier on the electric violin.

Things to know:
We dance without shoes (socks or bare feet are perfect).
We dance without the presence of alcohol or other strong substances.
We dance without electronic devices.
We dance without words (unless needed for safety).
We dance with others only with consent. (Hands clasped for a namaste gesture indicate a "no" or termination of a dance. Maintained eye contact, mimicking, or moving closer indicates a "yes".)
