Taking a production from inception in the middle of Iowa all the way to the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh.
After an unexpected meeting with Kristin Hanggi, Tony-nominated director of the Broadway hit musical Rock of Ages, Dr. Chris Okiishi and Patrick DuLaney of Crooked Path Productions have joined with her to bring to the stage her decade-long development of author Rob Bell’s play, “We’ll Get Back to You.”
Come to our discussion of the hows, whos, and whys with the Crooked Path’s founders, Patrick and Chris, as well as some of the actors. They will run through some scenes, discuss the changes and their reasons, as well as the daunting pressures of creating a world premiere in the Iowa Corridor and taking that show across the pond to the largest arts festival in the world that sold over 2.6 million tickets over 25 days last year. The festival is the third-largest globally ticketed event in the world after the Olympics and the World Cup.
Capacity for this free presentation is limited. Please register in advance to secure your tickets.
