FOUNDATIONS OF SOMAYOGA

This is a beginner yoga class, approached through a somatic lens. In this class we will be exploring somatic movement & yoga therapy techniques that will help strengthen a classic asana practice. Somatics are small mindful movements paired with breathwork that allow tension within the body to be released.

Meditation, breathwork, seated & standing poses, & a restorative savasana will complete each class and provide a foundation of practice that meets us where we’re at. We will learn to listen & honor what our Soma (mind/body) needs.
