The Terraplanes are a local rhythm and blues band that plays a mix of house rocking blues, uptown swing, soulful R&B, and roots rock, influenced by the music of Chicago, New Orleans, Memphis, Detroit, Texas and the Mississippi Delta. Their performance song list spans a wide variety of popular covers and originals that are guaranteed to wear a hole in your dancing shoes. The Terraplanes were formed in 1993 and established themselves as the blues housekeepers of the Ann Arbor Bluestage at the Blind Pig.
