Forró is one of Brazil’s most beloved music and dance styles. The word Forró is believed to come from forrobodó, meaning “great party” or “commotion”. By the late 19th century, the term was already used to describe this popular rural dances across northeastern Brazil.

But Forró is more than just a genre; it’s a cultural celebration that brings people together through rhythm, movement, and joyful connection.
