About the MC: "Sage Liskey is an Oregon born artist, designer, and event organizer. He is the author of seven books and has been the featured poet at events such as the Oregon Country Fair and Poetry Night With Jalen."
About the featured poet: "Sterling Israel is a visual arts teacher raised in the San Francisco area by parents immersed in the arts of ceramics and jazz. She started her creative journey through writing and storytelling, eventually going on to attend arts school for a graduate degree in arts management. Her current creative focus is on music and writing. Sterling is working on her first novel while balancing full-time work, and continuing with new graduate academic studies. She believes art is a compass for science, and that diversity is essential for sustainability."
About the featured musician: Forest Mountain Lion is a Eugene-based musician creating lyric-driven “animist folk rock” that brings together themes of love, the invulnerable human spirit, and resistance to exploitative industrial systems. Forest is accompanied by Jacob Sellars on bass and Courtney Renea on harmony vocals.
