A new class by Master Artisan Cindy
This bracelet uses a half spiral braid that allows the fiber to become part of the design.
Use a matching color fiber and bead for a more cohesive look or choose contrasting colors for a bolder design.
Students will use a leader cord to add beads and will learn how to convert a cord end into a glue-in end cap.
If you have a Marudai (a traditional Japanese braiding stand) I will show you how to adapt the braiding instructions.
PREREQUISITS: Loading Beads
TOOLS: Round Kumihimo disk, Kumihimo weight, size 10 beading needle, Fireline , E6000 glue, round nose pliers, chain nose pliers
