Join us for the next Jam Workshop, for musicians wanting to develop their skills and gain experience in playing the blues in a band environment.
These popular workshops provide a comfortable, non-threatening environment for less confident musicians and singers to perform in a band, to network and to exchange ideas with other jammers.
The workshops are not intended to show you how to play your instrument, but they may give you a better understanding of how blues music is structured and how to communicate with an unrehearsed band of jammers.
The workshops are delivered by the CBS Workshop house band, featuring some of our finest players. Each month's tunes are pre-announced in the Canberra Blues Society Jam Workshop Facebook group.
Setup is from 5:30pm and helpers would be greatly appreciated.
CBS member: $15 General: $20
No charge for children U16 accompanied by an adult
