Get to grips with improvising music to accompany improv theatre and comedy!
Taught by leading musical improviser Matt Hutton, this workshop explores the skillsets, mindsets and techniques involved in creating a score on the spot. It is aimed at musicians with some musical theatre or jazz experience who are looking to extend their skills in a new area.
Places are free, but limited spots are available, so please book in advance!

Matt Hutton (he/him) is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and improviser who's performed with many Wellington improv troupes over the last 10 years. A founding member of Best on Tap and the Paua Ballads, playing in Late Night Knife Fight shows and the New Zealand Improv Festival, he thrives on using the keys to help brings shows to life.
