Lena Rich returns to Maine this fall for a special evening at One Longfellow Square, sharing songs from her upcoming album, King Tide.

Within her songs, Lena blends a hillside of wildflowers in the Rocky Mountains with the shoreline of New England. Weaving the depth of human connection and the magic of moments that stick, Lena paints a picture that stays with you like your favorite photograph. Her sound, a mix of folk and atmospheric Americana, is rooted in tradition but entirely her own.

Joined by multi-instrumentalist Cabot Metz on pedal steel, banjo, and guitar, the duo creates a soundscape that feels far bigger than its parts—both parts intimate and expansive.

Having shared the stage with artists such as Anais Mitchell and Antje Duvekot and played festivals such as Red Ants Pants and Ossipee Valley, Lena is a distinctive singer/songwriter in the folk landscape

Old Hat Stringband
Based out of Southern Maine, Old Hat fuses tight vocal harmonies with a driving acoustic rhythm section. With a sound that draws from folk, old time, bluegrass, and country traditions, the band is comprised of Whitney Roy (Guitar, Vocals) and Steve Roy (Mandolin, Fiddle, Vocals).

Their debut album was released in 2022 and features 10 original compositions by the songwriting duo.

Whitney’s lilting vocals provide the backbone of the vocal blend, while her solid rhythm guitar anchors the band’s pulse.

Steve is a veteran of New England’s acoustic music scene, and has performed and toured with many of the acoustic world’s top acts.

Old Hat has performed on world class stages such as Prescott Park Arts Festival, Ossipee Valley Music Festival, Portsmouth Music Hall, Stone Mountain Arts Center and Wind Gap Bluegrass Festival.
