Orlando Goodhope is a distinguished athlete and individual with an impressive track record in both sports and military service. He began his journey at Norview High School, where he earned recognition as a 2X All Eastern District player in 1978 and 1979. In 1979, he was also named to the All Tidewater and All State teams, showcasing his exceptional talent on the field. Orlando continued his football career at Norfolk State University, where he was a 2X All CIAA selection in 1980 and 1983. He was also named MVP of the Fish Bowl in 1980 and 1982, further solidifying his reputation as a top-tier athlete. After his successful college career, Orlando signed a free agent contract with the Dallas Cowboys, advancing his professional football aspirations. In addition to his athletic achievements, Orlando was commissioned as an Army Infantry 2nd Lieutenant, demonstrating his leadership and dedication to serving his country.
