The WFA is the perfect course for the outdoor enthusiast who wants to be prepared with a basic level of first aid training for time spent in remote locations. Pre-registration is required!
The WFA is 16 hours long (two days) and will meet each day from 8:30am to 5:30pm with an hour for lunch. Course content will focus on the following basic skills:
Response and assessment
Musculoskeletal injuries
Environmental emergencies
Soft tissue injuries
Medical emergencies
The WFA certification is good for 2 years. Current CPR certification is not required at the WFA level but is recommended as a complimentary skill set.
