​RVA Handpan HangOut

This is a free community space ... where handpan enthusiasts, players, musicians of all walks, and anyone curious about making/listening to music is invited to attend. Whether you are new to playing the handpan, are an intermediate+ musician, or simply curious about the instrument, come see what it's all about and join us for an afternoon full of handpans, music & sweet chill-vibes.

Don't have a handpan? That's fine. Folks who have them will bring them, and likely share. Feel free to bring other instruments if ya have them. Worst case, we can grab some sticks on the ground and tap them on something! Additional info below!

BYO INSTRUMENTS:
handpan & other acoustic instruments like: guitar, mandolin, djembe, didgeridoo, shakers/rattles/drums, violin, trombone, trumpet, ukulele, home depot bucket, shells in a bag, seeds, etc!


BYO COMFORTS & FUNZEES:
– like the 3 B's – blankets, bug spray & bolsters
– instrument stand, chairs, etc
– oracle cards, coloring books, arts/crafts
– Hydration & snacks
– additional clothes/comforts as needed
– a friend, an open mind & an open heart
