Dutton Island Preserve Nature Walk

Join the park naturalist at the Dutton Island expansion trail parking lot for a tour of the preserve. During the walk, there will be a discussion on plants and animals encountered along the trail.

Portions of the trail are subject to flooding during unusually high tides and after rain; hiking boots are recommended. Participants will be given the option to explore the wooded habitat of the expansion trail or go for a walk out the island to explore salt marsh habitat.

Water, sun protection, bug spray, and binoculars are recommended. Well behaved dogs on leash are welcome. Terrain is ADA accessible and suitable for strollers.

Outside programs may be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather, etc.
