Kingsley JFC Auskick are hosting a Big Freeze 11 'DIY Ice Bucket Challenge' fundraising event at Kingsley Junior Football Club on Saturday 28 June, to fundraise to help FightMND beat the Beast that is motor neurone disease (MND).
Challengers from various Auskick teams and a few of the KJFC Committee have taken up the Ice Bucket Challenge and will get bucket of ice & water dumped over them in front of their team players and Auskick families this Saturday 28 June.
Each Ice Bucket Challenger has their own fundraising page - with all funds going to our Kingsley Junior Football Club MND page to raise funds for MND.
There will also be Big Freeze 11 merch - beanies and socks, as well as cupcakes and cookies for sale (cash sales only) with all these funds also being donated to MND. Please note, only limited quantities of merch available on the day.
We will have "Spoon & Ice" races and Ice bucket relays for the auskick kids throughout the morning too!
MND is a progressive disease that gradually takes away a person’s use of their arms and legs, their ability to eat and swallow, their speech and ultimately, their ability to breathe.… all in an average timeframe of just 27 months. Please help us by donating through our page.
It only takes a minute, and any money you can give will go to improving care for people living with MND, funding research into more effective treatments, and eventually, finding a cure.
Thank you, we really appreciate your support. Together we can defeat the Beast.
