Willowbrae Wednesday Wanders (8.15am start)
A wander on a Wednesday morning. Starting from the Willowbrae entrance to Holyrood Park (accessed from Lilyhill Terrace).
Meeting at 8.15am (just inside the gate), wandering for 10-15 minutes and then doubling back so that we’re back by 8.45am. No more than half an hour.
Free to participate in, no commitment or booking required, no walk leader, just an informal wander with whoever turns up! Please see notes in the first comment.
If there’s enough interest, this could become a regular thing.
Please note:
Everyone taking part in the wander does so at their own risk.
There are NO qualified guides, leaders or first aiders.
The group agrees on the route together.
All wanderers take responsibility for themselves.
Please satisfy yourself that you are fit to participate, and only wander as much or as little as you wish to and are comfortable with. Seek medical advice first if appropriate.
Respect the environment and other wanderers.
Children and dogs are welcome under responsible adult supervision.
Wear appropriate clothing and footwear depending on the weather (from waterproofs to sunglasses!) and bring a water bottle and snacks if you wish to.
Suggest going at the pace of the slowest wanderer in the group.
Relax, recharge and enjoy the wander!
