This event is part of a four workshop series we call "Our Fixing Fiesta"
We are delighted to introduce Gordon again, who will show you the basics of overlocker maintenance.
How to get your machine humming along and keep it that way!
There will be a small cleaning kit provided to take home afterwards (included in the ticket price)
Date - 28th June 2025
Venue - Jika Jika Community Centre (temporary home) at 59A Roseberry St. Preston
Time - 9.30am - 12 noon
Ticket Cost - (including a maintenance kit to take home)
$25 for a Transition Darebin member
$30 to the public
What to do -

Tickets are $25 for members of Transition Darebin and $30 for the general public
Tickets are strictly limited, so that attendees can have a small class.
On the day
Bring along your overlocker with foot pedal and power cord.
Access:
Parking: In the street or Preston Library car park. You can unload your machine and leave it inside the front door until you find a park
Public transport: Bus and #86 tram
Who will be your host?
Darebin Repair Cafe is a repair cafe volunteer group that is active in Darebin in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. We have been running repair cafes since 2018 and are part of the International Repair Cafe Foundation and also of Transition Darebin.
Transition Darebin is a community group based in Darebin, Melbourne which aims to inspire a transition to lower energy, more resilient and more sustainable ways of living. We are part of the worldwide Transition Network, an international movement of local communities coming together to re-imagine and rebuild our world.
