CELEBRATION OF LIFE POTLUCK AND DRUM CIRCLE FOR PETER ACKER

We will be hosting an informal Celebration of Life and Pot Luck drum circle to honor the memory of Peter Acker. Suggested arrival time is 6:30 p.m.
Susan Acker, Peter's sister will be visiting from Seattle and meeting our drum circle community for the first time.
We want to be sure to give her a warm welcome.
Susan will give a short speech at 7:30, just before sunset symbolic of a transitional period from this life to the next. The community will then be given opportunity to share their special thoughts and memories of Peter.
We will drum before and after as usual with thoughts of a peaceful and loving journey on the other side.
Please feel free to bring a dish to share.
Susan will provide some refreshments and treats.
Please bring your own drum and chair. Extra instruments are provided to encourage and support broader community participation.

Summer hours for our regular occuring Drum Circle at Rio Vista are 6 to 9. Most people arrive closer to 7 when it is cooler due to excessive heat advisories.
