Northshore Trail Run – This Saturday @ 6:30 AM
Join us for a community trail run at Murrell Park on the scenic Northshore Trail in Flower Mound. Whether you’re hiking, jogging, or racing, we’ve got a distance for everyone — from 5K to full marathon.
Meet at 6:15 AM at the MADD Shelter trailhead inside Murrell Park. The run starts promptly at 6:30 AM.
Trail Overview:
• The Northshore Trail is a continuous singletrack trail made up of 7 connected loops running along the north side of Grapevine Lake.
• We’ll run counter-clockwise, the standard direction.
• It’s an out-and-back format — just turn around when you hit your distance.
Distance Options:
• 5K (3.1 mi): Loop 1 out 1.55 mi, turn back.
• 10K (6.2 mi): Run through Loop 2, turn around mid-Loop 3.
• Half Marathon (13.1 mi): Go out through Loop 4 (near Twin Coves), turn around.
• Full Marathon (26.2 mi): Run all the way to end of Loop 7 (Rockledge Park), add a little extra if needed, then head back.
No pressure on pace or distance — just show up and move.
Some of us may race it, others are hiking. Come enjoy the sunrise, the trail, and the community.
