10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Community Prostate Screening Event:
**An appointment is recommended, but walk-ups are accepted. To schedule a screening, call (502) 629-1234, option 3.
What you can expect-
• A simple blood test to determine your risk for prostate cancer
• No-cost blood pressure and blood sugar screenings
• Free parking
Who should be tested-
• Men ages 50 and older at average risk (no family history).
• Men ages 45 and older at high risk. This includes Black men and any man with a father or brother who had prostate cancer.
• Men ages 40 and older with the highest risk, meaning more than one first-degree relative (brothers and father) had prostate cancer at an early age.
This screening event is supported by the Norton Healthcare Foundation in partnership with Bayer.
