Fourth of July brings more visual fireworks than the exploding kind. Join Lynda Burch and Pam Troutman to celebrate “Bursts of Color,” their Featured Artist display for July at Amapola Gallery.
Lynda Burch is well known for her delightfully inventive postage stamp art. This clever work will be well-represented here. But Lynda is also a provocative abstract painter. This colorful and flowing work will also be well represented.
Pam Troutman’s beadwork jewelry bursts with color as well. Bead weaving, bead embroidery, polymer clay and mixed materials and techniques join together in pieces of statement jewelry. Visual fireworks all around.
A joint project adds excitement. One of Lynda’s abstracts, in a palette of seasonal red, white and blues, will be embellished with Pam’s beadwork, in an interesting and worthwhile collaboration.
Join the artists on Friday, July 4, from 11 to 4, at their First Friday reception. Their show will run through July.
