Come and celebrate the rich cultural legacy of Yiddish music with "New York Sings Yiddish" at Central Park SummerStage on June 30th at 7 pm.
Presented by Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage in collaboration with the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene, this FREE event will see Central Park come alive with the beautiful sound of Yiddish songs featuring Frank London’s All Start Klezmar Band with musical direction by NYTF Artistic Director Zalmen Mlotek joined by an all star line up of Yiddish concert and theatre stars: the Joanne Borts, Cantor Magda Fishman, Daniel Kahn, Lea Kalisch, Yair Keydar, Daniel Mendelson, Daniella Rabbani, Eleanor Reissa, Riki Rose, Steven Skybell, and Margot Weintraub.
Join us for the world’s largest Yiddish sing-a-long with lyrics projected on a giant screen (with English supertitles), and available on your mobile devices, as we joyously celebrate our precious cultural legacy.
