A Nature Walk with Kew Gardens and the Anguilla National Trust
With colleagues from the Royal Botanic Gardens, Key on-island, the Anguilla National Trust will be hosting a guided hike through some of Anguilla’s back roads this Sunday 29 June. This leisurely walk focuses on Anguilla’s plant life, taking a slower pace and appreciating nature.
The circuit walk will begin and end at the Anguilla National Trust office, located in North Side. We will meet at 4.30pm at the office with a prompt departure time of 4.45pm. From the office, we will walk along back roads, dirt roads, and footpaths towards the Little Bay area. The hike is ranked as easy and is expected to take approximately 1.5 hours.
Light refreshments will be provided but we do encourage participants to bring water bottles to reduce plastic waste.
The activity is free of charge to all ANT members. The cost of the hike for non-members is US$5. Individuals are, however, welcome to become members. Individual annual membership is US$20 while family annual membership is US$50 and can be paid to the ANT. Youth annual membership fees are US$5. Interested persons should call the ANT office at 235 5297 to register and for more detailed directions.
