Taste Matariki, a refined dining experience with the stars

In celebration of Matariki, the Māori New Year, the Retreat chefs present a special six-course tasting experience from 1 June to 7 July 2025. Each evening, three stars from the Matariki constellation will be honoured through a thoughtfully crafted dish, designed by our talented chef team who bring both their creative inspiration and culinary skills to each stellar course. Come along to celebrate Matariki in the company of friends, colleagues or family over delicious and refined dining presented as a 6 course degustation menu prepared by the Retreat chefs.
