🪵 Island Lake Improvement Association Annual Meeting
📅 Saturday, July 19 | 10:00 AM
📍 Ruffed Grouse Roadhouse
So yeah… we’re having a meeting. At the lake. In July. Because apparently we looked at one of the best weekends of summer and thought, “Let’s get everybody inside and talk about water levels.”
It starts at 10am. Which is early. Not “go to work” early, but definitely “why is this coffee not working yet” early. But we’re meeting at the Ruffed Grouse Roadhouse, so at least you know the chairs are comfortable and the food afterwards is gonna be worth it.
We’ll cover:
Updates on what’s going on around the lake (like water levels, mystery buoys, and whether that one beaver is fixing things or making them worse)
Guest speakers (folks who actually know things — not just your cousin who “read an article once”)
Door prizes (you don’t have to win bug spray, but you might)
Silent auction (which is like regular bidding, except with pressure to whisper)
And lunch after — because nothing says “productive Saturday” like paperwork followed by a taco bar.
So if you love Island Lake, come on out. Or if you just like winning free stuff and mildly complaining in public, this is also for you.
🛶 See you there. Flip-flops optional. Opinions encouraged.
