Car pool option: meet at Collingwood Home Hardware parking lot on High St at 6th St @ 8:35am.
This hike is recommended for experienced hikers with good endurance for a sustained uphill route, followed by a technical climb up, and into the caves (which are open-air, not enclosed), then a mostly downhill trail route on return. The climax of this hike is a spectacular 360 degree scene of towering rockfaces and hidden crevices - so rewarding, but please be prepared to put in a good bit of effort on this one - dress for sweat! If you donβt feel comfortable doing the technical part, there will be an opt-out option, where we can meet you after we circle back following the caves.
Bring hydration and snack to sustain your energy on-trail.
Bring a chair, water/cold bevvie, and lunch or snack T o enjoy together at Trail-Gating Time following the hike.
