*NOTE: This is the last hike in our spring guided nature walk series. Watch for news of a star-gazing event and a fall-color hike later this year. Details will be posted on this Facebook page!
π Where: The Three Eagle Trail (45.839475, -89.189489)
πWhat to Expect:
If youβve biked the Three Eagle Trail, this is a perfect opportunity to walk it and learn about all youβve pedaled past! Our knowledgeable naturalist will enlighten us with stories of the trail that once was home to train tracks. Heβll also tell us about the interesting plants and trees that line its edges. FYI β The crushed limestone trail provides a nice, wide, sure-footed, walking surface.
πΊ Directions from the Three Lakes Visitors Bureau / Cy Williams Park:
β Turn right onto Superior Street
β Turn right onto US-45 N (at the hardware store)
β Drive 3.1 miles on US-45 N, watching for the sign thatβs on the right side of the road.
β Turn left into the Three Eagle Trail parking lot

π₯Ύ Meet at the trailhead parking lot at 8:00 a.m.
β° Duration: Roughly 2 to 2.5 hours (You can leave early if you need to!)
π¦οΈ Rain or shine β dress for the weather
π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦ Kids are very welcome with an adult
π² Admission: Free!
π What to bring: (optional) Water, walking sticks, binoculars and bug defense. π¦Bug season is here β we can still enjoy nature if we dress for it! Bug spray, long-sleeved shirts and long pants are recommended. Hats with mosquito netting will help keep the buzzing out of your ears!
