About DRC:
a good ole country band
About Slim Chance and the Can't Hardly Play Boys:
Slim Chance has been writing hit songs since before hit songs were even a thing. He’s written solid country gold hits since before the Carter Family and he has gotten no recognition, and more importantly, NO MONEY for his significant contributions to country music. Slim has rustled together his all-star band, The Can’t Hardly Playboys, to tour this country one more time to finally get the credit he so richly deserves, and maybe make a little scratch while he’s at it. Come on out to see the legend himself performing songs that were stolen from him by Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, George Jones, Jerry Reed and many more folks who lived their lives fat and happy off of his talent.
About KTHT:
Katie Sires and her self-proclaimed band of “Honky Tonk Dorks” hail from Waterloo, Iowa. Known for Katie’s awe-inspiring vocal talent, storytelling, live performances, and dedication to the classic country sound. Katie and the Honky Tonks have toured with Emily Nenni, opened for Ian Munsick at Xtream Arena, and played numerous country music festivals. They’ve also shared the stage with notable artists like Dale Watson, Josh Turner, and Jon Pardi.
Their debut album, Ain’t No Shame, is set to be released on June 27th, 2025, and builds on the success of their 2024 EP, Two-Steppin’ in the Shower, which solidified their place in the Midwest country music scene. The EP earned widespread recognition, with Iowa Public Radio saying, “The EP sounds more like Nashville 1964, not Nashville 2024.” It also earned them a nomination for Best Country Artist at the 2024 Iowa Music Awards.
