#10 PARKS + PICNICS (Learning Thursday - Hickory Hills)

I'm excited to make a stop at Hickory Hills County Park over east of New Virginia! This Learning Thursday will be hosted in collaboration with Warren County Farm Bureau's Ag in the Classroom! We'll have a brief lesson/activity that ties into the season/nature, and then we'll have time to play/explore and have a picnic!
The lesson for this stop will be about soil, and the activity will be soil painting! All materials and instruction are provided by Ag in the Classroom.
Looking forward to seeing you for this one! There is a nice shelter here, but I don't think there are modern bathrooms (just pit toilets). Also note, there is not any playground equipment here, so might be good to bring nature-y things to play with... bubbles, nets, balls, etc. The kids always seem to find something to explore!
