The Cosmic Creation Story offers us a context never before imagined, helping us exponentially expand our understanding of who we are, how we relate to the whole, and how we might image the Divine. Its implications for our life and faith take us far beyond anything we have ever before imagined, offering us a future of promise and hope.
The Power of Story - gives the basic premise of why stories are essential to who we are as humans, and how this Story provides the context for understanding who we are, how we relate to the whole, and how we might image the Divine in a way that no other story has been able to do. Participants will also explore the Ten Powers of the Universe that shape their lives, bringing it home to rest in their own personal stories.
There will be personal and group reflection, time to walk the beautiful woods of Springbank, spend time with Springbank’s 500-800 year live oak, fondly named ‘Grandmother tree’ and time to ‘just be’!
